OWENSBORO, Ky. – Drury fell behind at Kentucky Wesleyan, 1-0, at the break on Friday night, but rallied by exploding for four second half goals to earn a 4-1 win in conference play. Kentucky Wesleyan (2-3, 0-3) took the early advantage on a Ryan Brewer goal in the 7th minute. Drury (4-2, 2-1), which outshot the Panthers 27-8 in the contest, responded in the second half as Matt Hutchison posted a goal in the 47th minute on an assist from Eric Heet. Adam Heiligenstein notched the game-winner shortly after with a tally in the 53rd minute on an assist from Jack Mathis. Taylor Stacy and Nick Ammann added insurance goals and Stephen Conner earned the victory in goal with four saves. Kentucky Wesleyan will host Missouri S&T on Sunday, while Drury travels to Southern Indiana.
ST. LOUIS – Indianapolis earned a road win in GLVC play on Friday night by defeating host Maryville, 3-0. The Greyhounds (3-2, 2-1) grabbed an early advantage on a Bobby Adkins goal in the 10th minute which proved to be the deciding tally. Roger Lee added an insurance goal for UIndy in the 52nd minute on an assist from Joe McGuire and Ryan Barnett chipped in a third goal in the 74th minute and was assisted by Adkins. Goalkeeper Justin Roberts earned the shutout with five saves. UIndy will visit Missouri-St. Louis on Sunday and Maryville (2-3-1, 1-2) will host Saint Joseph’s
SPRINGFIELD, Ill. – Boris Brnada headed in a cross from Aloisio Barros to secure the game-winning for Lewis in a 3-0 win over host UIS on Friday night. Brnada’s score came in the 19th minute and proved to be the only goal keeper Alec Pickett would need as he secured the shutout with a pair of saves. Lewis (2-3, 2-1) added goals from Cristhian Ramirez and Dale Malcolm-Adams in the second half. Lewis will travel to Quincy on Sunday, while UIS (0-4, 0-3) will host UW-Parkside.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Paulo Scoppola scored just 57 seconds into the contest on Friday night to lift visiting Rockhurst to a 1-0 win over Bellarmine in GLVC men’s soccer action. Keith Williams assisted on the Scoppola goal and the Hawks withstood Bellarmine’s comeback attempt to move to 2-1 in league play. Ryan Bass recorded the shutout in goal as he finished with six saves. Bellarmine outshot the Hawks in the contest, 17-10. Rockhurst (3-1) will visit top-ranked Northern Kentucky on Sunday, while Bellarmine (3-2, 2-1) hosts William Jewell.

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – Top-ranked Northern Kentucky remained unbeaten on the season with a 3-0 win over visiting William Jewell on Friday. The Norse (5-0, 3-0) received the game-winner from Mason Cassady in the 15th minute as he converted a Brodie Steigerwald assist from 20 yards. Steigerwald added a goal for the Norse in the 67th minute on assists from Nicholas Chiarot and Kevin Donnelly and Chiarot knocked in a goal with just 50 seconds to play to provide the final tally. Sanjit Kang earned the win in goal for the Norse with a save as NKU limited Jewell to just four shots on the night. NKU will host Rockhurst on Sunday and William Jewell (2-2, 1-2) is headed to Bellarmine.

EVANSVILLE, Ind. – Missouri S&T secured a road victory in GLVC men’s soccer play on Friday night as the Miners defeated host Southern Indiana, 2-0. Kyle Schraier scored both goals for S&T in the victory, including the game-winner in the 26th minute. He was assisted on the game-winner by Jervis Atagana and on the second in the 84th minute by Ryan Muich. Pat McNamee recorded a pair of saves to earn the shutout. S&T (4-1, 2-1) will head to Kentucky Wesleyan on Sunday and Southern Indiana (1-4, 0-3) will host Drury.

ST. LOUIS – Saint Joseph’s and Missouri-St. Louis battled to a 1-1 tie through two extra sessions on Friday night. The Pumas (1-3-1, 1-1-1) got on the board first as Kevin Amaizo tallied an unassisted score in the 64th minute. UMSL (2-0-3, 1-0-2) answered quickly as Mike McCarthy evened the score at the 69 minute mark on an assist from David Schwer. Missouri-St. Louis outshot Saint Joseph’s 15-10 and held a 13-2 advantage on corner kicks. Saint Joseph’s will next visit Maryville and UMSL will host Indianapolis on Sunday.
QUINCY, Ill. – Grant Ellison broke a scoreless tie in the 85th minute on Friday night and delivered a 1-0 victory for the Hawks against visiting UW-Parkside. Ellison was assisted on the game-winner by Ryan Seifert. Goalkeeper Drew Duncan earned the shutout by posting nine saves. The Rangers’ Ryan Onwukwe had eight saves in the loss.
