LIBERTY, Mo. – Missouri S&T swept William Jewell in a GLVC volleyball matchup on Saturday afternoon. The Miners were led by Erin Bekebrede who had 11 kills and Jennifer Costello who finished with 36 assists. With the win, the Miners remained unbeaten in the GLVC at 5-0. William Jewell received nine kills and nine digs from Hannah Herndon.
S&T (8-3) followed the win with a non-conference victory over Pittsburg State. In the 3-1 victory, S&T received 25 kills and 14 digs from Bekebrede. Costello turned in 47 assists and Jennifer Kegler tallied 27 digs in the four-set win.
William Jewell (6-4) rebounded from the loss to S&T with a 3-1 win over Pittsburg State in the nightcap. Hannah Herndon notched a match-high 20 kills and a .436 hitting percentage and Cailynn Hayter finished with 44 assists, eight kills and six digs.
Indianapolis 3, UW-Parkside 0 (25-15, 25-20, 25-17)

INDIANAPOLIS – Kristan Hefferan tallied 13 kills on Saturday afternoon to lead Indianapolis to a 25-15, 25-20, 25-17 win over visiting UW-Parkside. Hefferan hit .265 for the match and Kristina Kerrigan added nine kills on a .467 hitting percentage. Any Oldenburg and Courtney Roach each recorded double-digit digs for the Greyhounds with 13 and 10, respectively. UW-Parkside (4-6, 3-2) was led by Caroline Langer who had 13 kills and a .478 hitting percentage. UIndy (5-4, 4-1) will next host Taylor on Tuesday, while UW-Parkside will host Northern Kentuckky on Friday.
No. 17 Lewis 3, Saint Joseph’s 0 (25-21, 25-23, 25-18)

RENSSELAER, Ind. – No. 17 Lewis picked up a road win in league play with a 25-21, 25-23, 25-18 win over host Saint Joseph’s on Saturday afternoon. Setter Leigh Barea paced a balanced Lewis attack with 27 assists. Daniell Mount led the Flyers with 10 kills and a .474 hitting percentage, while Amy Choi chipped in 20 digs. Saint Joseph’s (5-6, 0-5) was led by Sharon Freund who tallied nine kills. Lewis (6-4, 2-3) is next in action against visiting Bellarmine on Friday. Saint Joseph’s will host Kentucky Wesleyan on Friday.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Bellarmine earned a split for the weekend by posting a 3-0 win at Kentucky Wesleyan on Saturday. The Knights won the match 25-14, 25-17, 25-14 and received a team-high seven kills from Krista Gibson. Bailey BredenbeckCorp recorded a double-double with 15 assists and 11 digs. Bellarmine (6-3, 2-3) will visit Lewis for tis next match on Friday and Kentucky Wesleyan (3-9, 0-5) will travel to Brescia for a non-conference match on Tuesday.
Rockhurst 3, Drury 1 (16-25, 25-17, 25-19, 25-15)

KANSAS CITY – After dropping the first set 25-16, Rockhurst rallied to take the next three and defeat visiting Drury, 3-1. The Hawks rode a 21-assist effort from Maggie McGovern who finished with a .462 hitting percentage. Teammate Kelsi Rempe added 10 kills on a .625 hitting percentage and Maggie Hummel also chipped in 10 assists. Drury (7-3, 3-2) was paced by Sara Borneman who had a match-high 25 kills. Rockhurst (4-6, 2-3) will host Illinois Springfield on Friday in a divisional matchup. Drury will travel to Central Missouri tomorrow.
No. 14 Northern Kentucky 3, Southern Indiana 0 (25-21, 25-18, 25-16)

EVANSVILLE, Ind. – In a battle for first place in the GLVC East Division, No. 14 Northern Kentucky earned a 3-0 win at Southern Indiana to improve to 5-0 in league play. The Norse (10-0) were led by Sarah Drennen who had 19 kills and a .531 hitting percentage. Noelle Peterson added 13 kills and Jenna Schreiver had 43 assists. The Norse hit .437 as a team for the match. Southern Indiana (6-3, 4-1) was led by Danielle LaGrange who had nine kills in the loss. Northern Kentucky travels to UW-Parkside on Friday and Southern Indiana is on the road at Indianapolis.
Quincy 3, Maryville 0 (25-15, 25-18, 25-19)

QUINCY, Ill. – Christine Williams posted 10 kills and a .438 hitting percentage in leading the Hawks to a 3-0 win over Maryville on Saturday afternoon in league play. The Hawks finished with a .386 team hitting percentage and Lyndsay Kooi had 29 assists. Ashlee Brockenbrough had seven kills for Maryville. Quincy (4-5, 2-3) will visit William Jewell on Friday, while Maryville (3-4, 1-4) travels to Lindenwood for its next match on Wednesday.

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. – Missouri-St. Louis defeated Illinois Springfield in four sets on Friday night behind 15 kills from Erin Higgins. Chelsea Burkle added 12 kills and Anna McNulty had 43 assists as the Tritons move to 7-2 overall and to 4-1 in the GLVC. UIS (1-9, 1-4) was led by Sam Krilich who had a match-high 21 kills. UMSL will host Lindenwood on Tuesday in a non-conference matchup. UIS is set to host McKendree in on Wednesday.
