EVANSVILLE, Ind. - Behind a 77-71--148 from senior Darin Pinnick, the Indianapolis women's golf team captured the team title at the Screaming Eagle Golf Classic held at Cambridge Golf Club. Pinnick claimed medalist honors with the four-over effort and helped the Greyhounds erase a 10-stroke deficit and finish ahead of runner-up Drury by three shots.

Fellow Greyhound Amy Thompson (78-75--153) tied for third place and Jenny Konop (80-75) also claimed a top-ten finish by placing seventh overall.

Pinnick shot a one-under 71 on Tuesday afternoon to hold off Drury's Katrina Choate who finished second with a 75-74--149. UIndy finished with a 315-300-615 to win the 18-team event.

In all, 10 GLVC teams competed at the Screaming Eagle Golf Classic hosted by Southern Indiana. Missouri-St. Louis (638), Maryville (646) and USI(648) rounded out the top five in the team standings.
