Tiffin 3, Bellarmine 2 - BOX SCORE  |  RECAP

TIFFIN, Ohio- Bellarmine found itself in a 3-0 hole in the 52nd minute of its season opener at Tiffin Friday. The Knights were able to tally two late goals, both from Shane Mihaliejevic. Jacob Kaye and Jack Binns provided assists on the Bellarmine scores. The Knights travel to Findlay for a tilt with the Oilers Sunday at 2:30 p.m.

Rockhurst 1, Sioux Falls 0 -

KANSAS CITY, Mo.- A goal from Paolo Scoppola in just the 19th minute of play held up for Rockhurst in it's season opener Friday, as the Hawks took a 1-0 win over visiting Sioux Falls. Oussie Gueye assisted on the goal, a shot from about 20 yards out into the upper left corner of the net. Rockhurst opens GLVC play next Saturday, hosting Missouri S&T.

BUCKHANNON, W.V.- A goal in the 97th minute from the sixth-ranked Bobcats of West Virginia Wesleyan handed Southern Indiana a loss in the season opener for both squads Friday. USI led the shots battle throughout regulation, 8-6, but the extra-minute goal sent the Eagles off with the loss. Southern Indiana heads to Davis & Elkins College for a Sunday matchup with the Senators.

Ohio Dominican 3, Indianapolis 1 - BOX SCORE  |  RECAP

COLUMBUS, Ohio- After a scoreless first half, it was four second-half goals that decided the contest. UIndy fell to host Ohio Dominican 3-1, with Micah Uemura providing the first Greyhound goal of the 2011 season. Uemura took a ball from Ryan Schmidt and headed it home just after the 78-minute mark to eliminate the Panther shutout. UIndy takes on non-conference Cedarville Tuesday evening at 7:30.
