TIFFIN, Ohio- Bellarmine and GLIAC-foe Tiffin fought through 110 minutes of soccer, with each team notching one goal ending in a 1-1 draw. Tiffin struck first, scoring in the 23rd minute. The Knights tied the game in 57th minute on a header by Chelsea McCarthy. A free kick by Lauren Triplett sent the ball into the box for the McCarthy score. Bellarmine heads to Findlay for a noon game Sunday.

FINDLAY, Ohio- Northern Kentucky scored early and often in a 7-1 win at Findlay Friday in its season opener. Allison Ponzer had a pair of goals and two assists in the victory for the Norse, who open the home portion of their 2011 slate with a Sunday matchup with Tiffin.

INDIANAPOLIS- Drury opened its 2011 slate with a 2-0 win over Ohio Dominican. Hillary Cockrell tallied the first Panther goal on a penalty kick, and Nicole Williams cemented the win with a goal from 25 yards out on a ball from Kinsey Shouse. Drury faces off with Ferris State Sunday at noon.

JOPLIN, Mo.- A hat trick from Kaylee Netuzling powered Missouri-St. Louis to a 3-2 win over Missouri Southern to open its season Friday night. Neutzling scored in the fifth, 18th and 86th minute in the win. Libby Shriver, Kelly Muesenfechter and Brittany Harbaugh all assisted Neutzling on the evening. UMSL returns to the pitch Sunday, hosting Lindenwood at noon.

Quincy 2, Southwest Baptist 0 -

QUINCY, Ill.- A pair of second half goals gave Quincy a 2-0 win to open its 2011 season over Southwest Baptist Friday. Brittany Casey scored the first Hawk goal in the 63rd minute, with Aimee Ubriaco tallying the second just seven minutes later for the 2-0 win. The Hawks travel to Missouri Southern State Sunday.

GREENVILLE, Tenn.- Southern Indiana and No. 16 Colubmus State battled through two halves and two overtime periods of soccer with neither squad scoring a goal in Pioneer Classic action Friday. CSU out-shot the Eagles 19-7, and had an 11-0 advantage in corner kicks. The Eagles conclude Pioneer Classic contests when they play Georgia College & State Sunday.

INDIANAPOLIS- A Kaitlyn Braunig score in the 59th minute held up, giving UIndy a 1-0 win over Ferris State to open the 2011 season. Braunig headed the ball off of the left post on a ball sent across the box by Shelby Spinelli. The Greyhounds host Ohio Dominican Sunday at 2:30.
