SPRINGFIELD, Ill. – UIS defeated future GLVC opponent McKendree in four sets on Wednesday night, 25-13, 27-29, 25-12, 25-20. Sam Krilich led the Prairie Stars in the win with 18 kills on a .333 hitting percentage. Annie Nottingham and Rebeka Pruemer each notched a double-double as Nottingham posted 11 kills and 19 digs and Pruemer finished with 44 assists and 10 digs. McKendree was paced by Nadia Moore who had 11 kills in the loss. UIS (2-9) will next visit Rockhurst on Friday.
Maryville 3, Lindenwood 2 (32-30, 25-22, 23-25, 22-25, 17-15)

ST. LOUIS – The Maryville volleyball pulled out a marathon victory against host Lindenwood in a non-conference regional match-up. The Saints topped Lindenwood in five sets, including a 32-30 decision in the first set and 17-15 win in the deciding set. Maryville was led by Ashlee Brockenbrough who tallied 19 kills, 11 dig and five blocks. Demi Maniaci added 11 kills and seven digs in the win. Maryville (4-4) is at Missouri S&T on Friday.
