ROMEOVILLE, Ill. – No. 22 Lewis won a matchup of top-25 programs as the Flyers knocked off No. 12 Northern Kentucky on Saturday afternoon, 3-1. The Flyers were paced by Jen Krumwiede who had 20 kills and a .450 hitting percentage. Hannah Koeneman added 15 kills and six blocks in the win, Colleen Mitros chipped in 10 kills and nine digs and Leigh Barea finished with 50 assists in four sets. Northern Kentucky (10-2, 5-2) was led by Kim Nemcek who had 19 kills, eight digs and a .533 hitting percentage. Lewis (8-4, 4-3) will visit Maryville next weekend and Northern Kentucky is heading to Cedarville on Wednesday for a non-conference match.

Missouri S&T 3, Missouri-St. Louis 0 (25-16, 26-24, 25-22)

ROLLA, Mo. – In a battle for first place in the GLVC West Division, Missouri S&T swept visiting Missouri-St. Louis to move to 7-0 in the GLVC and take a two-game lead in the divisional standings. The Miners  (10-3) was led by Jackie Zellmer who had 13 kills and Hayley Wright who finished with 10 kills. Jennifer Costello tallied 36 kills to pace the Miners’ attack. UMSL (8-4, 5-2) received 11 kills from Erin Higgins and 19 digs from Alisha Skaggs in the loss. Missouri S&T will next host McKendree in a non-conference match on Wednesday. Missouri-St. Louis is slated to face Southern Indiana in a non-conference match on Wednesday.

Southern Indiana 3, Saint Joseph’s 0 (25-10, 25-22, 25-19)

RENSSELAER, Ind. – Danielle LaGrange posted 14 kills and Jorae Bradbury added 30 assists to lead Southern Indiana to a 3-0 sweep of host Saint Joseph’s on Saturday. LaGrange finished with a .458 hittin percentage and the Eagles hit .315 as a team. Saint Joseph’s (6-7, 1-6) received seven kills apiece from Lisa Parsons and Sharon Freund. Southern Indiana (7-4, 5-2) will head to Missouri-ST. Louis for a non-confrence match on Wednesday and Saint Joseph’s will next visit Quincy on Saturday.

Drury 3, Maryville 0 (25-12, 25-21, 26-24)

ST. LOUIS – Drury rolled to a 3-0 victory over visiting Maryville on Saturday afternoon. Alexis Dutt paced a Panther offense that hit .311 on the afternoon and she finished with 37 assists. Amanda Watson led Drury with 15 kills and Sara Borneman added 10 kills. Maryville (4-6, 1-6) received 13 kills from Ashlaee Brockenbrough. Drury (8-5, 4-3) will host Harding on Monday, while Maryville hosts Missouri Baptist on Tuesday.

Quincy 3, Rockhurst 1 (19-25, 25-19, 25-23, 25-21)

KANSAS CITY – After dropping the first set on Saturday afternoon, the Quincy volleyball quickly rebounded to take the next three and knock off host Rockhurst, 3-1. The Lady Hawks had four players with double-digit kills and setter Lyndsay Kooi led the attack with 49 assists, seven kills and eight digs. Christine Williams finished with a double-double by posting 15 kills and 10 assists. Rockhurst (5-7, 3-4) was led by Maggie McGovern who had 13 kills and 11 digs. Quincy (5-6, 3-4) will host Saint Joseph’s on Saturday and Rockhurst is slated to travel to Northwest Missouri St. on Tuesday.

Indianapolis 3, Kentucky Wesleyan 0 (25-10, 25-15, 25-16)

INDIANAPOLIS – Fourteen Indianapolis players saw time on Saturday afternoon as the Greyhounds posted a 3-0 win over visiting Kentucky Wesleyan. Hannah Kelzer hit .727 and posted eight kills to lead the Greyhounds, while Kristina Hefferan add seven kills and six digs. Camille Cherry led the team with 21 assists and Amy Oldenburg added 18 digs. KWC (4-11, 0-7) was paced by Bridget Johnson who had six kills in the loss. UIndy (8-4, 6-1) will visit Illinois Springfield on Saturday and the Panthers will host William Jewell.

UW-Parkside 3, Bellarmine 0 (25-18, 25-23, 27-25)

SOMERS, Wis. - The Wisconsin-Parkside volleyball team followed last night’s upset win over No. 12 Northern Kentucky with a sweep of conference-foe Bellarmine on Saturday afternoon. The Rangers (6-6, 5-2) received a double-double from Caroline Langer in the win as she posted 10 kills and 10 digs. Bridget Nickel added 13 kills and nine assists for the Rangers. Bellarmine (6-5, 2-5) was led by Paula Byrns who had 13 kills and Bailey BredenbeckCorp who had 33 assists. UW-Parkside will visit Winona State on Tuesday in a non-conference match and Bellarmine will host Missouri S&T on Saturday.

William Jewell 3, Illinois Springfield 1 (25-14, 25-17, 18-25, 25-19)

LIBERTY, Mo. – William Jewell moved to 4-3 in league play with a 3-1 victory over visiting Illinois Springfield on Saturday afternoon. The Cardinals (8-4) quickly claimed the first two sets and after a third-set setback, defeated Illinois Springfield in the deciding set, 25-19. Hannah Herndon paced the Cardinals with 19 kills and a .340 hitting percentage and Jordan Jackson added 13 kills and a .379 hitting percentage. UIS (2-11, 1-6) was led by Annie Nottingham who had 15 kills and nine digs. William Jewell  will travel to Kentucky Wesleyan on Saturday and UIS will host Lindenwood on Wednesday.
