ST. LOUIS – Missouri-St. Louis defeated Southern Indiana on Wednesday night in a non-conference volleyball match, 3-1. The Tritons (9-4) were led by Anna McNulty who posted 50 assists in four sets. Chelsea Burkle tallied a match-high 18 kills and hit at a .375 clip. Shelby Crawford notched a double-double with 14 kills and 11 digs, while hitting .371. UMSL hit .296 as a team in the match and Alisha Skaggs notched 25 digs. USI (7-5) was led by Lauren DeShaney and Danielle LaGrange who each had 14 kills. UMSL will host UW-Parkside on Saturday and Southern Indiana will return to league play against visiting Rockhurst.

CEDARVILLE, Ohio – Jenna Schreiver recorded 40 assists in leading Northern Kentucky to a sweep at Cedarville on Wednesday night in non-conference action. The 18th-ranked Norse (11-2) hit .262 for the match and received 15 kills from Sarah Drennen. Shelby Buschur hit .588 and finished with 13 kills. The Norse will host Drury on Saturday as they return to league competition.

ROLLA, Mo. – Missouri S&T picked up a pair of regional victories on Wednesday night with decisions over McKendree and Southwest Baptist. The Miners (12-3) defeated McKendree in four sets as Erin Bekebrede posted 21 kills and 12 digs. Setter Jennifer Costello had 51 assists in the win over McKendree and returned in the nightcap to deliver 41 assists against Southwest Baptist. In the sweep, Bekebrede again led the Miners in kills, tallying 16 on a .500 hitting percentage. S&T will next visit Bellarmine on Saturday.
Lindenwood 3, Illinois Springfield 1 (25-18, 25-21, 21-25, 25-14)

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. – Illinois Springfield fell to visiting Lindenwood on Wednesday night in a non-conference volleyball match. The Prairie Stars (2-12) hit .138 for the match and had a pair of players reach double-digit kills. Kelle Mahaffay and Sam Krilich each posted 12 kills to lead the team. Rebeka Pruemer tallied 37 assists in the loss. Lindenwood hit .331 as a team and Ellen Fandry finished with a match-high 17 kills. UIS will host No. 24 Indianapolis on Saturday.
