Northern Kentucky 9, Tiffin 0 - RECAP  |  BOX SCORE
HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky.- The NKU offense put up big numbers again Sunday, taking a 9-0 win over visiting Tiffin to improve to 2-0 on the young season. Stacie Volker had three goals in the landslide victory, and Amanda Mason tallied four assists in the contest. The Norse return to the pitch Friday, opening GLVC play against Kentucky Wesleyan.

Drury 4, Ferris State 1 - RECAP  |  BOX SCORE
INDIANAPOLIS- A pair of goals from Kara Steiner, and two more scores in the game led Drury to a 4-1 win over Ferris State Sunday, pushing its record to 2-0-0 on the young season. Nicole Williams and Bri Borgman both also scored for the Panthers, while McKenna Feltes had two assists in the contest. Next up for Drury is a GLVC contest with William Jewell Friday night.

Quincy 2, Missouri Southern 0 - RECAP  |  BOX SCORE
JOPLIN, Mo.- The Hawks scored a pair of goals within 90 seconds of each other to take a 2-0 win over Missouri Southern State Sunday. Megan Wingenbach notched the first Quincy goal on a penalty kick at the 15:04 mark, and Aimee Ubriaco tallied the second QU goal at the 16:31 mark. Quincy opens GLVC play Friday, hosting Missouri-St. Louis.
 
Lindenwood 2, Missouri-St. Louis 1 - RECAP  |  BOX SCORE
ST. LOUIS- Lindenwood scored in the first 12 seconds of its contest at Missouri-St. Louis Sunday, and added another in the 32nd minute to take a 2-1 win over the Tritons. UMSL got its lone goal from Liz Drennan just after the 69-minute mark. The Tritons return to action Friday, opening GLVC play at Quincy.

Bellarmine 3, Findlay 2 -

FINDLAY, Ohio- Bellarmine earned its first win of the season, taking a 3-2 decision at Findlay Sunday. Allyson Palmer, Christina Kapsalis and Abby Janszen all scored for the Knights, who staked themselves to a 3-0 lead before Findlay tallied a goal. Bellarmine opens GLVC contests hosting Southern Indiana Friday.

Georgia College & State 1, Southern Indiana 0 -

GREENEVILLE, Tenn.- A goal in the 75th minute by Georgia College and State's Brittany Borror handed Southern Indiana a 1-0 loss Sunday in the Tusculum Kickoff Tournament. GCS outshot the Screaming Eagles 17-9 en route to the win. Southern Indiana moves to 0-1-1 with the loss, and opens GLVC play Friday, hosting Bellarmine.

OAKLAND CITY, IN- The Prairie Stars opened their 2011 season with an offensive explosion at Oakland City Sunday. Kim Tokarski had three goals and an assist on the day to lead UIS, while Erin Egolf, Hunter Westbrook and Chandler Sommerfeldt each had a pair of goals on the day. The Prairie Stars also got scores from Emily DeLong and Linda Hernandez in the win. Illinois-Springfield starts the year 1-0 with the win, and continues its season hosting Maryville Friday in the GLVC opener for both teams.

INDIANAPOLIS- A Nicole Duncan goal in the 106th minute lifted UIndy to a 1-0, double-overtime victory over Ohio Domincan Sunday. Shelby Spinelli assisted on the goal, which was scored from close-range to end the game. The win improves the Greyhounds' record to 2-0 as they head into GLVC play at Lewis Friday.
