INDIANAPOLIS - Northern Kentucky (4-0) continued its impressive start to the season with a pair of sweeps on Sunday at the UIndy Invitaitonal. The Norse defeated Florida Tech beind 19 kills from Kim Nemcek and 14 kills from Sarah Dreenen. Setter Jenna Schreiver posted a double-double with 38 assists and 10 digs. NKU ended the weekend with a 3-0 victory over Saginaw Valley State. In the victory, Noelle Peterson joined Nemcek with a match-high 11 kills apiece. Schreiver added 31 assists as NKU captured four matches at the challenging invite without surrendering a game.

INDIANAPOLIS - The No. 14 UIndy Greyhounds (1-3) held off a rally by Saginaw Valley State on Sunday to earn their first victory of the season, 3-2. UIndy held a 2-0 advantage in the match, before the Cardinals took games three and four. UIndy earned the match win by taking the deciding set, 15-11. In the win, Kristina Hefferan posted 19 kills and Kristina Kerrigan added 12 kills and 11 digs. Amy Oldenburg notched 20 digs to lead the Greyhounds and setter Meghan Binkerd paced the team with 42 assists.
