OWENSBORO, Ky. - Top-ranked Bellarmine shot just under 60 percent from the field Saturday to top No. 7 Kentucky Wesleyan, 80-68, at the Sportscenter in Owensboro, Ky.  Jeremy Kendle led BU with 28 points on 10-of-14 shooting, while Braydon Hobbs added 18 points, Keisten Jones netted 15 and Chris Dowe had 11.   KWC was paced by Anthony Young's 23 points, followed by Brandon Johnson and Cornbread Walker with 18 and 14 points, repsectively.  BU improved to 18-1 on the year and 10-1 in GLVC action, while KWC dropped to 8-3 in conference play and 16-3 overall.

EVANSIVLLE, Ind. - University of Southern Indiana sophomore Lawrence Thomas scored with 2.3 seconds to play to lift the eighth-ranked Screaming Eagles to a 69-68 victory over ninth-ranked Northern Kentucky Saturday afternoon at the Physical Activities Center. USI raised its record to 16-3 overall and 8-3 in the GLVC, while NKU fell to 15-4, 7-4 GLVC. Thomas led a USI rally that overcame a 12-point deficit with 3:43 to play by scoring eight of his game-high 17 points in the final three minutes.  NKU has not won a regular-season game in the PAC Arena since Dec. 10, 1994, when the Norse rallied for a 96-90 victory over then-No. 1 Southern Indiana. Since then, NKU has dropped 13 consecutive regular-season games in the PAC Arena to USI.  The Norse was led by Chad Jackson with 15 pointd and nine rebounds, while Ethan Faulkner added 13 points and teammate Jalen Billups scored 10.

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - Adrian Moss and Reece Cheatham combined for 54 points to lead No. 21 UIndy men's basketball past Wisconsin-Parkside, 86-73, in front of 1,515 at Nicoson Hall on Saturday afternoon.  Moss had 28 points, seven assists, four rebounds and three steals, while Cheatham added 26 points, four assists, three rebounds and three steals for the Greyhounds (15-4, 8-3 GLVC) against the Rangers (8-11, 1-10 GLVC). Each hit five 3-pointers as Cheatham made his first six shots on the way to 9-of-11 shooting overall, 5-of-6 from distance.  Jeremy Saffold led Parkside with 23 points and Colt Grandstaff added 18 points, while UIndy held its leading scorer, Leneal Harris, to seven points on 1-of-10 field goals.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Alex Hall scored 22 points and Drury pulled away from a tie game down the stretch to defeat Rockhurst 67-58 in Great Lakes Valley Conference play Saturday afternoon at Mason-Halpin Fieldhouse.  Brandon Lockhart and Ian Carter added 11 points each as the Panthers improved to 11-8 overall and 5-6 in the league.  Brandon McCann had 13 points to lead the Hawks, who dropped to 6-13 overall and 3-8 in the conference.

LIBERTY, Mo. - William Jewell used pressing defense and timely 3-point shooting to fend off the Missouri S&T Miners, 65-56, on Saturday afternoon.  Nick Larson, who fought off double and triple-teams in the post was able to drop in a game-high 18 points and snatch up 13 rebounds. He also dished out a game-high seven assists.  Craig Mattson hit three 3-pointers in the second half to add 14 points.  Michael Jackson kept the Miners in the game by scoring a physical 17 points and collecting nine rebounds.  With the victory, the Cardinals improved their record to 6-11 overall and 3-8 in GLVC play, while the Miners fell to 3-16 overall and 2-9 in the conference action.

ST. LOUIS, Mo. - Quincy extended its winning streak to four games Saturday with a 61-42 conference win over Maryville.  Courtney Belger led the Hawks with 15 points, seven rebounds, and four assists.  Justin Brock added 12 points and seven rebounds, while Chris Babbitt chipped in with 12 points and five rebounds. Asa Toney led the Saints with 15 points as Maryville dropped to 9-9 on the year and 3-8 in GLVC play.  The Hawks improved to 14-5 overall and 7-4 in the GLVC.

RENSSELAER, Ind. - Lewis tied a season-high with 13 3-pointers, including 11 in the first half, on way to a 86-64 victory over Saint Joseph's at Scharf Fieldhouse on Saturday.  Flyer freshman Julian Lewis pitched in a season-high 19 points and a team-high eight rebounds, while classmate Ryan Jackson collected 12 tallies in the win.  Saint Joseph's junior Dayvon Sloan topped the Pumas with 16 points, while backcourt mate Damon Ellison, Jr. had 10 points in the loss.  With the win, Lewis improved to 13-6 overall and 5-6 in GLVC play, while the Pumas are now 7-12 on the campaign and 2-9 in conference action.

ST. LOUIS, Mo. -  Missouri-St. Louis defended its home court and maintained sole possession of first place in the GLVC West Division with a 76-65 victory over Illinois Springfield Saturday afternoon.  The Tritons, 9-0 at home this season, improved to 14-5 overall, including 9-2 in the GLVC, and moved two games ahead of the Prairie Stars in the league. UIS, which had a four-game win streak snapped with the loss, slipped to 10-10 overall and 7-4 in the GLVC.  Junior Joshua McCoy recorded 19 points, connecting on 4-of-8 3-pointers, to lead UMSL, while freshman Jack Connors scored 14 points in his second collegiate start. McCoy also pulled down five rebounds and finished with three steals and two assists.  Jermaine Love-Roberts contributed to the Prairie Star's cause by scoring a game-high 21 points, while teammate Kyle Gupton added 10 for UIS.
