HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. -
In a game that came down to the wire, a steal by Casse Mogan with just two seconds to play quelched the final UIndy chance and sealed a 71-68 win for Northern Kentucky in GLVC action Thursday. The Norse (17-5, 10-4 GLVC) got 33 points from Mogan in the win, while Ellen Holton tallied 10 and Tiara Hopper had 12. Sadie Bowling grabbed a game-high 14 rebounds for NKU, which pulls into a tie with the Greyhounds for second in the GLVC East with the win. UIndy (16-6, 10-4 GLVC) was paced by a game-high 36 points from Kristin Turner, including a three-ball that gave UIndy a one-point lead with just 28 seconds to play. Eliza Wortman corraled 12 rebounds for UIndy in the loss. The Greyhounds head to Bellarmine Saturday evening, while the Norse will welcome Saint Joseph's to the Bank of Kentucky Center in conference action Saturday.

#19 Wisconsin-Parkside took over the top spot in the GLVC East Division via a 56-40 win over Southern Indiana Thursday night. The Rangers (18-4, 11-3 GLVC) were led by 17 points from Brittany Beyer, while Jaleesa Trussell added 10 points off the bench. Jadee Rooney and Amy Selk both contributed 10 points each in the UWP win, while Stephanie Carpenter's 14 points led USI (7-15, 1-13 GLVC) in the loss. Anna Hackert also put in 10 points and grabbed a game-high 12 boards for the home team. The Rangers head to Kentucky Wesleyan for a Saturday game, while the Screaming Eagles will stay at home for a contest with the Lewis Flyers.

The host Knights cruised to a 96-78 win over visiting Saint Joseph's behind an offensive attack that saw five players in double figures. Bellarmine (11-11, 5-9 GLVC) was paced by 21 points from Kylie Brady, while Therese Montano added 18 points and both Kylee Hamilton and Betsy Goodin chipped in 16. Allison Osen tallied 12 points and completed a double-double with 11 rebounds. The Pumas (13-9, 7-7 GLVC) were led by Jasmyne Reynolds' 20 points off the bench, while Montrell Mills had 19. Tatiana Ortiz also had 17 for SJC in the loss. Bellarmine hosts UIndy Saturday, while the Pumas head to Highland Heights, Ky. for a GLVC matchup with Northern Kentucky.

Behind 13 points each from Jess Reinhart and Jamie Johnson, visiting Lewis took an 80-64 win at Kentucky Wesleyan in GLVC play Thursday night. The Flyers (6-16, 4-10 GLVC) also got 12 points from Nikki Nellen and 10 each from Labrenthia Murdock and Madeline Kish in the win. The trio of Karly Roads, Neika Smith and T'Essence Phelps each scored 10 points apiece to lead the Panthers (13-9, 7-7 GLVC) in the loss. Lewis will play at Southern Indiana in a league game Saturday, while the Panthers will host Wisconsin-Parkside.

A pair of free throw makes from William Jewell's Aerial Smith with six seconds to play sealed a 64-60 win over Illinois Springfield in GLVC action Thursday night. The Cardinals (14-7, 9-6 GLVC) got 19 points each from Chelsea Meeks and Holly Swizter, with Katlyn Wood adding 13 in the win. UIS (8-15, 3-12 GLVC) was led by 14 points and seven boards from Bailey Beale, with both Elizabeth Kelly and Megan Bergerud adding 10 in the loss. Next up for the Cardinals is a game at Quincy Saturday, while the Prairie Stars will host Rockhurst in GLVC play.

Quincy won its league-leading seventh straight contest with a 59-45 victory in the battle of the Lady Hawks with Rockhurst in GLVC play Thursday. QU (16-6, 11-3 GLVC)got 17 points from Linsay Henke, 15 from Ali Schwagmeyer, 13 from Lucy Crmsey and 10 from Karlee Gengenbacher in the win, while Rockhurst (5-17, 2-12 GLVC) got 10 points each from Allison Streich and Taylor Skala in the setback. Rockhurst heads to Illinois Springfield for their Saturday GLVC contest, while Quincy will host William Jewell Saturday.

Drury took an easy 62-46 win over Maryville at Molony Arena Thursday. The Panthers (16-6, 11-3 GLVC) got a game-high 19 points and 13 rebounds from Erica Groose, while Bethanie Funderburk and Casey Carroll both contributed off the bench with 14 and 13 points, respectively. Abby Bracker also grabbed 10 rebounds in the win. The host Saints (12-10, 8-6 GLVC) were paced by 10 points each from Abby Duethman and Shelby Miller in the loss. The Panthers stay in St. Louis for a Saturday contest at Missouri-St. Louis, while the Saints continue GLVC play with a home game versus Missouri S&T.

ST LOUIS - Visiting Missouri S&T left Chuck Smith Court with a 67-55 win over host Missouri-St. Louis Thursday night in GLVC play. Kyesha Hall's 14 points paced the Lady Miners (17-6, 11-4 GLVC) while Julie Meyer added 11 points and eight rebounds in the win. For the Tritons (9-14, 4-11 GLVC), Caitlyn Moody's 12 points led the roster. The Lady Miners continue their Gateway City roadtrip, playing at Maryville Saturday. UMSL will host Drury in GLVC play.
