Four GLVC Baseball Teams in Action at NCAA Midwest Regional

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - Four Great Lakes Valley Conference baseball teams are among the six squads competing this week at the 2013 NCAA Division II Baseball Championship Midwest Regional.  Bellarmine University, which earned the GLVC Championship last week, continued its momentum in the first round as the sixth-seeded Knights stunned No. 1 seed Ashland University of the GLIAC, 13-10.  Saint Joseph's College, the No. 4 seed, dropped a 6-5 decision to No. 3 Grand Valley State, while Lewis University (East) prevailed 11-8 over host Drury (West) in a battle of the GLVC's Divisional Champions. 

The six-team, double-elimination Midwest Regional will be contested at Drury’s Meador Park, May 16-19.
