GLVC Men's Soccer Players Glean D2CCA All-Midwest Region Honors

INDIANAPOLIS -- Great Lakes Valley Conference men's soccer was honored with 14 players on the Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) All-Midwest Region First and Second Teams as nominated and selected by the region's sports information directors, it was announced Wednesday (Nov. 16).

The league earned eight first-team spots, including Drury University’s David Cross (B) and Antoine Vial (M); Missouri S&T’s Felipe Andrade (F); Quincy University’s Taylor Reis (MF); Rockhurst University’s Gianluca Bottoni (MF), Kaleb Jackson (MF) and Connor Mullen (B); and University of Southern Indiana’s Adam Zehme (GK).
 
The all-region second team is comprised of University of Missouri-St. Louis’ Joe Rund (B); Rockhurst’s Evan Craig (B) and Logan Feldmann (GK); and Southern Indiana’s Eric Ramirez (F), Kyle Richardville (MF) and Michael Sass (B).
 
The 13 first team all-region players will now be placed on the national ballot for All-America consideration. The All-America teams will be released Wednesday, Nov. 30. The complete All-Midwest Region teams follow below.

The Division II Conference Commissioners Association encourages and promotes Division II athletics and high standards of sportsmanship as important elements of higher education. The CCA is a key communications link among the conferences as they discuss views, policies and regulations that impact Division II intercollegiate athletics and works closely with the NCAA as a communications channel to NCAA Division II member colleges and universities.
