INDIANAPOLIS – The Great Lakes Valley Conference is represented in this week's Women's Basketball Coaches' Association (WBCA) NCAA Division II Poll, it was announced Tuesday (Jan. 24). Bellarmine University is 11th, Drury University is 12th, while both Lewis University and University of Southern Indiana are each receiving votes outside the top 25.

Bellarmine (16-2, 8-1 GLVC) dropped from No. 4 to No. 11 after going 2-1 and losing its first GLVC game last week to then-No. 24 Lewis, and Drury (17-2, 9-0 GLVC) moved back to No. 12 with a 2-0 week against league teams.

Despite its upset win over then-No. 4 Bellarmine, Lewis (14-5, 6-3 GLVC) dropped out of the poll this week after a 20-point loss to Southern Indiana (16-3, 8-1 GLVC). The Screaming Eagles couldn't quite crack the top 25 following its 2-1 Conference showing but continued to receive votes of its own in the national poll.
