INDIANAPOLIS – The Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) announced Thursday its GLVC Sports Network (GLVCSN) coverage for the 2019 GLVC Men’s and Women’s Tennis Championship Tournament, which will take place April 19-21 at multiple sites around Indianapolis, Indiana.

This is the fifth-straight year the Conference tournament will have select matches streamed, and also the fifth consecutive event where the schedule has been altered due to inclement weather. The tournament was originally set to be played mainly at Center Grove High School in Greenwood, Indiana, but the quarterfinals on Friday and semifinals on Saturday have been forced indoors to the UIndy Tennis Center and Butler University’s Bubble.

Matches 1, 3, and 4 for both the men and women will be played at the UIndy, while both Match 2’s will be contested at Butler on Friday in quarterfinal action. All four semifinal contests will be played at UIndy Saturday, and both Championship matches will move back outdoors to Center Grove HS Sunday.

GLVCSN will stream live and free coverage of both the No. 1 doubles and No. 1 singles play in one featured men’s and women’s quarterfinal match on Friday. At 9 a.m. ET, the women’s No. 1 East seed and GLVC East Division Champion Indianapolis (18-0, 5-0 GLVC) will battle No. 4 West seed Rockhurst (8-9, 3-3). Following that match, No. 1 West seed and West Division Champion Drury (13-4, 6-0) will open the men’s tournament against No. 4 East seed Southern Indiana (11-12, 2-3) at approximately 1:30 p.m. ET.

John Edwards returns to GLVCSN coverage to call play-by-play throughout the weekend. On Saturday, Match 6 (winners of Match 3 and 4) for the women’s side will be streamed and Match 5 (winners of Match 1 and 2) for the men will air, while both GLVC Championship finals will be streamed live with the women at 9 a.m. ET followed by the men at 1 p.m. ET on Sunday.

Coverage of the select featured matchups can be seen by logging on to the GLVCSN’s official website, GLVCSN.com, or on the GLVCSN iOS/Android mobile apps, as well as on the Roku, Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV and Android TV OTT platforms. Fans can also access Championship Central online at GLVCsports.com/2019tennis for match locations and court assignments, and follow the Championship coverage on Twitter via @GLVCsports and @GLVCSN, as well as the hashtag #GLVCtennis and #GLVCchamps.
