INDIANAPOLIS – Lewis University junior Juan Martin Ramirez Meija has been named the Great Lakes Valley Conference Player of the Week in men’s tennis, it was announced by the league office Tuesday.

- Defeated WSU’s Spicer/Solar at No. 1 doubles to start the week with partner David Ambrozic
- Beat No. 8 regionally-ranked David Szeri of SBU at No. 2 singles in three sets (6-2, 4-6, 6-3) after a 6-3 win with Ambrozic at No. 1 doubles against Carlos Corser and Max Sanoja
- Finished the week with 6-4 road victory with Ambrozic over Quincy’s Brenden Everhart and Luca Cantale before a 6-4, 6-3 win against Kevin Nathan at No. 2 singles
- Earns first career Player of the Week award
