The changes COVID-19 has required institutions to make has left my team and I feeling like we have unfinished business. We were not given a chance to prove what we could do. It is difficult for other people to understand how big of a loss this is for student-athletes.
COVID-19 has also left me to question when I will graduate.
There have been some announcements that spring sport student-athletes will be able to keep a year of eligibility, but I am still unsure of how scholarships will work, if I have enough credits left before I graduate to stay another year, and if it would make sense for me to stay another year or start my career path.
With all this in mind, COVID-19 has left me feeling confused.
