Why did you choose your major and what career aspirations do you have after graduation?
Computer Science has always interested me as a person even from my adolescent years, beginning with building my own computers and attempting to write my own programs. This, along with my love for Sci-Fi like Star Wars, drove my interest into the computer science world and the crazy things you can accomplish with it. The double major of Mathematics was an easy choice, as math is the subject that comes the easiest to me naturally. After I graduate, I plan on enlisting with the Air Force as an officer to specialize in cyber security while I do my service for the country. After this, I’m not sure where I will land but hopefully somewhere in the private sector doing cyber security and/or software development. Hopefully, this allows me the time to pursue game development where I can try to put my creative side to use, as well as, the ability to create tools & resources for the collective benefit of the masses.
