Why did you choose your major and what career aspirations do you have after graduation?
I started my college career as a nursing major. After a lot of self pondering, I had a change of heart
last year and decided to change my major to human services. I have a true passion for helping others and supporting those who need it most. I think that our mental health is sometimes put on pause, and I want to be the helping hand for those in need and help advocate for mental health. I plan on getting my Masters in Counseling or Social Work after graduation. I am passionate about working with high school-age teens. I think high school is such an important time in someone’s life and I want to be able to impact someone’s life positively during this trying time.
