INDIANAPOLIS – University of Southern Indiana senior Jennifer Comastri and Southwest Baptist University sophomore Madison Hicks have been named the Great Lakes Valley Conference Women’s Indoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week, it was announced by the league office Wednesday.
WOMEN’S TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

Team Results: No Team Scores at Samford Open (1/23)
- Ran a provisional time of 4:56.62 to finish third in the Mile
- Ranked 11th in NCAA Division II for that time
- Earns second career Indoor Track Athlete of the Week award (1/27/21, 2/5/20)
- Last Screaming Eagles Indoor Track Athlete of the Week: Jennifer Comastri (2/5/20)

Team Results: 4th/6 Teams (50 points) at Central Missouri Invite (1/22)
- Placed first in triple jump at UCM Invite, jumping to a provisional distance of 11.92 meters
- Ranked eighth in NCAA Division II for that mark
- Earns first career Indoor Field Athlete of the Week award
