The final weekend of the 2021 Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) spring football regular season kicks off on Thursday, with a pair of Saturday contests determining the matchup for the league title, to be held at the top seed of the East Division on April 24. 

Truman (2-0) and Missouri S&T (2-0) face off on Thursday for the West Division crown in Rolla. The Bulldogs have limited opponents to 17.5 points per game thus far, while the Miners have scored 48.5 points in their first two contests. S&T's Payton McAlister and Aaron Moya lead the GLVC in rushing, combing for 306.5 yards per game and eight touchdowns. Truman's Cody Schrader ranks third in the Conference, averaging 131.5 yards per game. 

Southwest Baptist (0-2) and William Jewell (0-2) look to add a win of their respective column on Saturday, kicking off at 1 p.m. in Liberty. Cooper Callis stands atop the GLVC passing leaderboard, averaging 337.5 yards per game for the Bearcats, while wideout Curtis Cuillard is hauling in seven catches for 78 yards. For Jewell, Anthony Pritzel is throwing for 179 yards per game under center, while Grant Latina is averaging 74 yards per contest and 6.5 catches.

UIndy (1-0) and McKendree (1-0) face to determine who will host the GLVC title game on April 24, kicking off at 4 p.m. in Indianapolis. Bryce Stancombe tossed for 275 yards in the Greyhounds' opener against Quincy two weeks back, while JaQuan Buchanan rushed for 101 yards and one touchdown. For McKendree, Jacob Bachman caught six passes for 148 yards in the season opener, as Turner Pullen threw for 144 yards on 12-of-18 passing as the starter.

The GLVC announced on Feb. 5 that spectator attendance at all outdoor sporting events will be left up to the discretion of each member institution, following the league's weekly Council of Presidents' (COP) meeting. Fans are encouraged to watch all games streaming live and free on the many GLVCSN platforms, including GLVCSN.com, the GLVCSN iOS and Android mobile apps, as well as the GLVCSN OTT apps for Roku, Apple TV, Android TV, and Amazon fireTV.

Truman (3-0) clinched the 2020-21 GLVC West Division crown on Thursday evening, handing Missouri S&T (2-1) a 46-27 defeat in Rolla to advance to the first-ever league title bout. A 20-point second quarter lifted the Bulldogs to a 20-7 halftime lead, before the visitors exploded for 26 tallies in the final 15 minutes to finish with 46. 

Ryan Olivas led the defense with two interceptions, adding five tackles to his night. Offensively, Cody Schrader rushed for 123 yards on 18 carries, scoring three touchdowns. Nolan Hair completed 13 passes from under center, totaling 155 yards.

Southwest Baptist (1-2) won a 55-50 shootout against William Jewell (0-3) on Saturday in Liberty. Cooper Callis finished 429 yards on 24-for-39 passing, with Curtis Cuillard and Jordan Kent combining for 267 yards and three touchdowns. The Bearcats averaged 7.9 yards per play, totaling 578 yards of offense. William Jewell recorded the fourth-most total offense in GLVC history in the loss, recording 649 yards.

UIndy (2-0) captured the spring East Division crown on Saturday, downing McKendree (1-1) at Key Stadium, 51-23. Bryce Stancombe threw for 325 yards and five touchdonws from under center, while Toriano Clinton rushed for 147 and two touchdowns. Daveon Bell led the receivers with 136 yards on 10 catches and a score. Kasyus Kurns picked off two McKendree passes in the win.
