ST. CHARLES, Mo. – The top two seeds advanced to the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) Men’s Lacrosse Championship, as No. 1 Lindenwood University (10-2) and No. 2 University of Indianapolis (9-2) both picked up key wins on Friday from Hunter Stadium.

UPDATE (5/8, 11:10 a.m. CT): The title tilt between Lindenwood and UIndy has been rescheduled to Saturday, May 8, at 8 p.m. CT., out of caution due to Sunday's severe weather forecast.

The Lions and Greyhounds both loom in the NCAA Division II South Regional Poll, which was last released on Wednesday. The two teams split during the regular season, with the top-seeded Lions getting the best of the Greyhounds on March 13 (16-9) before UIndy returned the favor on April 24 (11-9). Each team won on their home turf.

UIndy has won the first two GLVC tournament titles, both on its home field in 2018 against Young Harris College and in 2019 versus Rockhurst University.
