UIndy, Lewis Named GLVC Women’s Indoor Track & Field Weekly Honorees



INDIANAPOLIS – University Indianapolis graduate Berenice Cleyet-Merle and Lewis University junior Alecea Cardillo have been named the Great Lakes Valley Conference Women’s Indoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week, it was announced by the league office Wednesday.

Major: Master of Psychology

Team Result: No Team Scores at Boston Univ. David Hemery Valentine Invite (2/11) 
  • Won the mile in record time with a 4:31.99 to win USTFCCCA Women’s National Athlete of the Week honors
    • Set school, NCAA D-II, and French National records
  • Earns ninth career Indoor Track Athlete of the Week Award 2/3/22, 12/8/21, 2/18/21, 2/19/20, 2/12/20, 1/29/20, 1/21/20, 12/19/19)
