INDIANAPOLIS – The College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) released its Women’s Track and Field/Cross Country Academic All-America teams Tuesday afternoon, recognizing three Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) student-athletes.
Illinois Springfield senior Taryn Chirsty earned her third All-American nod after achieving a 3.96 GPA studying political science, being selected to the first team by voters. Casey Berberich of Maryville also earned another All-American nod, as she landed on the second team with a perfect 4.0 GPA in her graduate physical therapy classes.
Indianapolis senior Brittney Clark rounded out the list of GLVC honorees, as the biology major was a third team selection with a 3.78 GPA this past semester.
