LEXINGTON, Ky. – Four Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) volleyball programs were ranked in the latest American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) poll, the organization announced on Monday.
Missouri-St. Louis (22-0, 7-0 GLVC) rose one place to No. 3, as it continues to build on the best start in program history. The Tritons beat Missouri S&T and Maryville this past weekend.
Lewis (17-5, 6-1) moved up another spot this week, climbing to No. 13 after defeating Indianapolis last Saturday.
After breaking into the top 25 last week, Quincy (21-1, 7-0) continued its climb, elevating three positions to No. 21. The Hawks picked up a pair of Conference road wins over Drury and Southwest Baptist last weekend.
Rockhurst (18-4, 6-2) became the 24th-ranked team after jumping up one place. The Hawks handled both Truman State and Upper Iowa in four sets last weekend.
