GLVC Football Weekly Awards Go to UIndy, SBU, Jewell



INDIANAPOLIS – University of Indianapolis junior quarterback Gavin Sukup, Southwest Baptist University junior defensive back Levi Korir, and William Jewell College junior defensive line Derrick Von Hubbard were named the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) Players of the Week in football, it was announced by the league office Monday.

OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Gavin Sukup, #21 Indianapolis

Major: Sports Management  
Team Result: 40-13 W at Upper Iowa (10/26)
  • Finished 19-for-22 (86%) through the air, racking up 227 yards and career-high five touchdowns
  • Added team-high-tying 65 rushing yards on 11 attempts
  • Helped UIndy offense put up 40 points against the league’s top scoring defense
  • Earns sixth career Offensive Player of the Week Award (10/28/24, 9/23/24, 9/16/24, 11/13/23, 10/2/23, 9/4/23)
