INDIANAPOLIS – Missouri S&T sophomore quarterback Tyler Gioia and senior running back/wide receiver Gideon Niboh, as well as University of Indianapolis graduate linebacker Clay Schulte were named the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) Players of the Week in football, it was announced by the league office Monday.
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Tyler Gioia, Missouri S&T

- Finished 21-for-30 (70%) on pass attempts, recording career highs in yards (372) and touchdowns (4)
- Tallied the most single game passing yards in the league this season
- Tied for the most passing touchdowns in a game by a GLVC signal caller this year
- Set new career long passing play on 86-yard touchdown toss
- Helped S&T to 548 total offensive yards and 65 points against an SBU defense that was ranked first in overall defense and yards allowed per game entering the matchup
- Added 13 rushing yards on nine attempts
- Earns second career Offensive Player of the Week Award (10/7/24, 9/11/23)

- Tallied 275 all-purpose yards, the second most in the Conference this season
- Became third player in GLVC and first in S&T history to score a rushing, receiving, and return touchdown in the same game
