UMSL’s Rieder Locks Up GLVC Women’s Basketball Weekly Award

INDIANAPOLIS – Missouri-St. Louis junior forward Mara Rieder has been named the Great Lakes Valley Conference/Athletic Solutions Player of the Week in women’s basketball, it was announced by the league office Monday.

  • Averaged 21.5 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 1.5 blocks in two conference wins
  • Shot 64% (18-of-28) from the field and 88% (7-of-8) from the free throw line
  • Added three assists and one steal
  • Highlighted by performance against Lewis, dropping 25 points and 10 rebounds on 11-of-19 shooting from the field
  • Helped Tritons extend winning streak to five games
  • Leads GLVC in points per game (20.8) and rebounds per game (9.5)
