Lincoln, UMSL to Meet in GLVC Men’s Basketball Championship Tournament Final

ST. CHARLES, MO. – The Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) Men's Basketball Championship game is set, as the University of Missouri-St. Louis and Lincoln University will meet on Sunday, March 9. The Conference title will be decided at Hyland Arena, with tip-off set for 1:00 p.m. CT. 
 
Fans who will be attending can purchase tickets online at GLVCsports.com/tickets, and those who can't attend can watch on all GLVCSN platforms for $12.

#4 Lincoln 87, #1 Missouri S&T 64

  • Lincoln's efficient shooting led the Blue Tigers to the victory, shooting 50% (31-62) from the field with 50% (11-22) from 3 point range and 82.4% (14-17) from the free throw line.
    • Lincoln had five score in double figures, including Malcolm Davis (20), Tyler Chapman (17), Andreas Fuller (15), Matthieu Biembongo (12), and Max Ekono (11).
    • Franck Yetna grabbed 13 rebounds and added three steals
  • Ryan Sroka and Cameron Stovall led the way for the Miners, scoring 16 points each.
    • Andrew Young was the only Miner in double figures with 13 points
    • Lovell Williams added 10 rebounds and four steals
  • This is Lincoln's first-ever appearance in the title game.

  • Missouri-St. Louis' Troy Glover II tallied a double-double, scoring 12 points with 12 rebounds.
    • Glover's teammates, Matt Enright, Janeir Harris, Savon Wykle, and Emanuel Prospere II scored 22, 17, 16, 14, and 12 respectively. 
    • The Tritons outscored the Peacocks in the paint, 38-30.
  • Upper Iowa led Missouri-St. Louis in second chance points, 10-6. 
    • Nick Reid scored a team-high 27 points, while two teammates scored in double-figures, including Kyle Hrncir (20), and Noah King (13)
    • Reid and Hrncir both added nine boards apiece.
  • Missouri-St. Louis is making its fourth appearance in the title game.
