WACO, Texas – Six Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) football student-athletes were selected to the D2Football.com Elite 100 Watch List, it was announced Monday.
All six GLVC players landed on the "Squad" team, featuring four offensive individuals and two on the defensive side of the ball. Indianapolis had the most honorees amongst league schools, as quarterback Gavin Sukup, offensive lineman Ryan Buttz, and defensive back Jalyn Givan earned recognition. A pair of running backs – McKendree's Eddie Clark and Truman State's Denim Cook – and Missouri S&T defensive lineman Bentley Hart were the other three student-athletes from the conference to crack the list.
The D2Football.com Elite 100 Watch List was selected by the staff of D2Football.com with the input of numerous sitting head coaches as well as professional football scouting veteran Josh Buchanan. The players listed in this release represent the official watch list for the D2Football.com 2025 Elite 100 Team, which will be announced at the conclusion of the season. The team includes first and second team selections for offense, defense and special teams along with 25 "Squad" players for offense and defense. Squad players are equivalent to "honorable mention" selections in similar national recognition lists.
