UIU, UIndy Bring Home GLVC Football Weekly Accolades

INDIANAPOLIS – Upper Iowa senior wide receiver Mante Morrow, along with the Indianapolis duo of sophomore linebacker Alvin Contreras and freshman kicker/punter Andrew Herron have been named the Great Lakes Valley Conference/Athletic Solutions Players of the Week in football, it was announced by the league office Monday.

OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

  • Hauled in eight passes for 216 receiving yards and four touchdowns
  • Tallied longest play of the game with an 81-yard touchdown grab
  • Recorded third-most receiving yards in program history and first Upper Iowa player with 200 receiving yards in a game since 2012
  • First Peacock since 2019 to catch three touchdowns in a game
  • Earns first career Offensive Player of the Week Award
