INDIANAPOLIS – Newman freshman Claire Jacobson has been named the Great Lakes Valley Conference/Athletic Solutions Athlete of the Week in women’s bowling, it was announced by the league office Thursday.

- Registered 229.8 average in five Traditional games, finishing first out of 53 bowling
- Earned Tournament MVP honors
- Notched average of 20.83 pins in 70 frames of Baker play
