GLVC Softball Weekly Accolades Go to UIndy, UIS

INDIANAPOLIS – Indianapolis sophomore outfielder Brooklyn Willis and Illinois Springfield sophomore pitcher/first baseman Calista Stahlhut were named Great Lakes Valley Conference/Athletic Solutions weekly award winners in softball, it was announced by the league office Monday.

Team Results: 7-4 W at West Liberty, 16-0 at Wheeling (2/20) | 4-3 W vs. Indiana (PA), 6-0 W at Findlay (2/21)
  • Helped UIndy go 4-0 at Highlands Classic
  • Went 7-for-14 (.500) with two walks for a .563 on-base percentage
  • Smacked two home runs and one double, posting a 1.071 slugging percentage
  • Drove in seven runs and scored five
  • Highlighted by 3-for-4 performance against Indiana (PA), tallying two RBIs, one triple, and one run scored
  • Earns second career Player of the Week Award (4/28/25)

  • Gave up eight hits and two walks, while striking out 13 batters
  • Best performance came in second game against ODU, going eight shutout innings and punching out six
  • Earns first career Pitcher of the Week Award
