Men's Basketball 3/24/2026 2:00:00 PM Rockhurst Sports Information Rockhurst's Wesley earns multiple All-American honors Rockhurst senior guard Jaylen Wesley has been named an All-American today by the NABC and a D2CCA Third Team All-American. NABC All-Americans are voted on by NCAA Division II member coaches. The D2CCA All-America teams are voted on by members of the NCAA Division II Sports Information Directors Association. Wesley, a native of Phoenix, Arizona, led the Hawks to a 23-7 record and their first GLVC regular season championship in men's basketball. He has earned numerous postseason honors, including GLVC Player of the Year, First Team All-GLVC, GLVC Player of the Week five times, NABC and D2CCA All-Region, and CSC Academic All-District. He started 30 games this season, averaging 21.6 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per game while shooting 52.2 percent from the field, 41.1 percent from three-point range, and 83.0 percent from the free-throw line. The 6-3 Wesley scored in double figures in all 30 games, recording 19 20-point performances and three games of 30 or more points, highlighted by a season-high 33 points against Missouri Western on Dec. 13 and Truman State on Jan. 31. Wesley now ranks 30th all-time in program history with 1,094 career points. Wesley was joined on the NABC All-Midwest Region teams by teammate Drenin Dinkins, who was named to the All-Region Second Team. Dinkins led the Hawks with a 23.2 scoring average. Former Rockhurst head coach Kyle Blackbourn was named the NABC Midwest Region Coach of the Year.
