McKendree Sweeps GLVC Women’s Lacrosse Weekly Honors

INDIANAPOLIS – McKendree duo of senior attacker Jayna Barnden and junior midfielder Lexi Macleod have been named the Great Lakes Valley Conference/Athletic Solutions Players of the Week in women’s lacrosse, it was announced by the league office Monday. 
 
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Major: Exercise Science & Sport Performance
Team Result: 26-3 W at Northwood (3/26) | 22-1 W at Saginaw Valley (3/28)
  • Tallied 19 points on 14 goals and five assists
  • Recorded an 90.5% (19-of-21) shots-on-goal percentage
  • Scored eight goals and had four assists against Northwood to accumulate a career-high 12 points.
  • Scored six goals and assisted another against Saginaw Valley.
  • Added five ground balls and caused two turnovers.
  • Earns fourth career Offensive Player of the Week Award (3/16/26, 2/24/25, 3/25/24)
