All 15 GLVC Schools Appear in DII Learfield Directors’ Cup Winter Standings

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) had all 15 member institutions ranked in the fall Division II Learfield Directors' Cup standings, as released on April 2, with Indianapolis ranked fifth in Division II.

The league's 15 schools on the list was the second-highest number of representatives. The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) led all conferences with 16 schools. Out of 23 DII leagues, the GLVC has the most instituitions in the top 100 with nine. Joining Indianapolis (5th), is McKendree (11), Lewis (25), Maryville (37), Missouri-St. Louis (47), Drury (61), Quincy (78), Rockhurst (86), and Lincoln (100).

The six other GLVC schools that scored points are Missouri S&T (128th), William Jewell (156), Upper Iowa (183), Southwest Baptist (185), Illinois Springfield (188), and Truman State (192) to round out the list.

The Learfield Directors' Cup was developed as a joint effort between the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) and USA Today. Points are awarded based on each institution's finish in NCAA Championships.
