INDIANAPOLIS – Missouri S&T redshirt-junior shortstop Taylor Nelson and Drury junior pitcher Jordyn Foley were named Great Lakes Valley Conference/Athletic Solutions weekly award winners in softball, it was announced by the league office Monday.

- Went 11-for-12 (.916) with four walks, recording a .938 on-base percentage
- Smashed four homers and three doubles for a 2.167 slugging percentage
- Drove in 12 runs and scored 14 herself
- Reached base in every at-bat and tallied at least three RBIs in three of four games, including a 4-for-4 performance with three doubles in the first game against Quincy
- Launched two homers in second contest versus Upper Iowa
- Earns first career Player of the Week Award

PITCHER OF THE WEEK

- Tossed 14 innings over two starts in the circle, giving up five hits and just one earned run
- Picked up the win in both outings, improving her record to 11-8
- Struck out 14 and walked two
- Notched seventh no-hitter in program history in first game against Quincy, allowing two walks and punching out a career-high 11 batters
- Tied for seventh in career wins at Drury with 21
- Earns first career Pitcher of the Week Award
