PERU, Ind. – Drury junior Gaige Lewis claimed the individual medalist trophy on Thursday after 54 holes of stroke play in the 2026 Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) Men's Golf Championship at Rock Hollow Golf Club. In addition, following the conclusion of stroke play, Missouri S&T sophomore Rizq Adam Rohizam and freshman Li Kasule earned GLVC major awards for the 2025-26 season.
Lewis fired a total of 6-under-par with a 210, carding rounds of 69-72-69 to earn Drury’s first-ever GLVC Championship individual title.
The top-five finishers were named to the All-Tournament Team squad. Joining Lewis was Missouri-St. Louis’ Trigg Lindahl (70-71-70–211) and his teammate Cole Komyati (69-66-79–214) in second and third place, respectively. Finishing two strokes behind in a tie for fourth place was Kasule (73-70-73–216) and Drury’s Ellton Bostrom (72-74-70–216).
On the team side, S&T (288-280-290–858) beat UMSL (291-288-286–865) by seven strokes to earn the top seed in Friday’s medal/match play competition. The second-seeded Tritons will meet No. 3 seed Drury (289-295-286–870), while the Miners will take on No. 4 seed Indianapolis (305-293-289–887).
Lewis (310-289-297–896) finished in fifth place, while McKendree placed sixth with rounds of 302, 296, and 302 (900). Rockhurst (307-300-294–901) landed just one stroke behind the Bearcats to finish seventh, and Illinois Springfield (305-305-303–913) secured eighth place. Respectively placing ninth through 13th were Quincy (308-305-302–915), Maryville (307-305-305–917), Upper Iowa (313-305-318–936), Lincoln (318-316-317–951), and William Jewell (323-316-313–952).
Prior to medal/match play lineup selections, Rohizam was honored as GLVC Player of the Year and Kasule earned Freshman of the Year honors. The All-Conference team, along with the Coach of the Year award and individual and team winner of the James R. Spalding Sportsmanship Award, will be announced following a coaches' vote prior to NCAA Regional competition.
The start time for Friday’s semifinal rounds of medal/match play will be 8 a.m. ET. S&T and UIndy will begin their match off of the first tee, while UMSL and Drury will start from No. 10.
