Drury’s Zornoza CSC Academic All-America® Team Member of the Year, Five Other GLVC Men's Athletes Honored

GREENWOOD, Ind. – Six Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) student-athletes were named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) NCAA Division II Men's Swimming & Diving Academic All-America® Teams, it was announced Wednesday.

Drury’s' Alvaro Zornoza (Mathematics, 4.00) claimed a CSC Academic All-America® Team Member of the Year, as well as a first-team nod.

The Panthers led GLVC representation with a trio of individuals making the list. Ivan Adamchuk (Finance major, 3.90 GPA) and Yuro Cabral (Business Economics, 3.95) earned first-team honors. Adamchuk was named to the first-team for the third year in a row.


Missouri S&T’s Jordan Christensen (Aerospace Engineering, 3.87) and Indianapolis’s Jeremias Pock (Exercise Science, 3.89) rounded out the First-Team honors for the GLVC. Christensen’s teammate Adam Wiedemeier (Psychology, 4.00) moved up to the Second-Team after earning a Third-Team nod in 2025.

The CSC Academic All-America® separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and College Division. The College Division includes all NAIA, Canadian, and two-year schools.
 
The Division II Academic All-America® program is being financially supported by the NCAA Division II national governance structure, to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2025-26 DII Academic All-America® teams program.
