INDIANAPOLIS – Upper Iowa senior quarterback Zamar Wise, Southwest Baptist junior defensive back Chucky Sutton, and McKendree freshman kicker Truman Carnine have been named the Great Lakes Valley Conference/Athletic Solutions Players of the Week in football, it was announced by the league office Monday.

- Recorded 279 all-purpose yards and four touchdowns in 17-point win over Jamestown

- Carried the ball 17 times for 119 yards and two scores
- Helped Upper Iowa win its first opening game since 2017 and first season-opening home game since 2015
- Earns first career Offensive Player of the Week Award
