SOFTBALL PITCHER OF THE WEEK
Lewis senior Mary Jaszczak picked up two victories and recorded a 0.50 ERA in 14 innings of action to earn Pitcher of the Week honors in the GLVC. Jaszczak held the No. 1- hitting team in the GLVC, Quincy (.295), and No. 4 UWP (.278) to just six hits in 46 at bats (.130 avg.) with 10 strikeouts and one walk. She threw a four-hit 5-0 shutout against UWP and a two-hitter against Quincy, winning 8-1. Jaszczak is a psychology major from Shorewood, Illinois.
