The GLVC SAAC is dedicated to engaging in community involvement. As a member of Division II, our objective is to bring in people from surrounding communities and interact with them to ensure they have a good experience on our campuses. By encouraging our student athletes to get involved in the community, we are able to better not only our campuses but also our communities. Many of our member schools interact in the community in encouraging and creative ways.

Ideas that Work...
1. Sports Clinic- The only charge for the clinic was to bring a canned food item. The did both a basketball and soccer clinic.

2. Sports Formal-Invited everyone on campus to annual Sports Formal Dance. Earnings went to the Make-A-Wish Funds.

3. Breast Cancer Awareness Day-Encourage everyone to wear pink to the sporting event. At half-time or inbetween games have a donation for Breast Cancer Awareness. Give back the money to a local clinic.
