The 2011 Great Lakes Valley Conference Women's Golf Championship will be held at Annbirar Golf Course in Waterloo, Ill. on April 23-24, 2011. It marks the 12th annual GLVC Women's Golf Championship.

The 2011 championship will be held at Annbriar for the second consecutive year. Annbriar is the seventh different course to have hosted the GLVC Women's Golf Championship and just the third course to have hosted in multiple years.

Annbriar Golf Course, voted annually by The St. Louis Riverfront Times as one of the "Best Golf Course" in the St. Louis area, has received a 4.5-star rating and named one of America's Top 500 "Places to Play" by Golf Digest.

The tournament features a 36-hole format on the 72-par, 5,882-yard course. A total of 18 holes are played on each day of competition.

Drury (2), Indianapolis (5), Lewis (1), Northern Kentucky (3) and former league-member SIU Edwardsville (1) have each won the GLVC Women's Golf Championship. UIndy leads the way with five league championships.

Last season, UIndy won its second consecutive GLVC Women's Golf Championship with a two-day score of 619. The Greyhounds defeated Drury by nine strokes to claim the title. Southern Indiana's Angela Dehning claimed medalist honors by shooting a six-over-par 150 and topping Northern Kentucky's Lyndsey Bevill in a playoff.

The top five finishers at the GLVC Women's Golf Championship are named All-GLVC and the top finishing individual earns medalist honors. The remaining golf awards are determined by season results.

Admission to the 2011 GLVC Women's Golf Champioship is free to the public.
