The 2011 Great Lakes Valley Conference Women's Tennis Championship will be hosted by Northern Kentucky University on April 22-23. The 2011 event marks the 30th annual GLVC Women's Tennis season.
The top four teams based on highest divisional winning percentage from each of the GLVC's two divisions earn a spot in the eight-team GLVC Women's Tennis Tournament. The event is single elimination with a third-place and championship match conducted on Saturday.
Bellarmine (1), Drury (4), Indianapolis (8), Northern Kentucky (6), Saint Joseph's (6), Southern Indiana (4) and former league-member SIU Edwardsville (1). UIndy has claimed a league-best eight women's tennis titles with the last coming in the 2005-06 season.
Last year, Drury won its fourth consecutive GLVC Women's Tennis Championship by topping Northern Kentucky in the championship match, 5-0.
