2017 GLVC Baseball Championship Tournament
Moves to US Baseball Park
The 2017 Great Lakes Valley Conference Baseball Championship Tournament will be held at US Baseball Park in Ozark, Missouri, May 11-14. The tournament will mark the 38th GLVC Baseball Championship and the first year it will be held at US Baseball Park. This year's event will consist of four tournament games in three of the first four days.
Eight teams will vie for the 2017 GLVC crown and the opportunity to represent the conference at the NCAA Division II National Championship. Those eight teams will consist of the top-four teams from the East Division and the top four-teams from the West Division.
Last season, #2E Indianapolis claimed its record sixth GLVC Championship with a 6-1 victory over #3W Rockhurst. With its championship, the Greyhounds overtook the outright lead in league history for most tournament titles.
Lewis holds the second most titles won with six and the Flyers are one of 11 different schools to have claimed a championship in baseball, which also include Saint Joseph's (5), Southern Indiana (4), Bellarmine (4), Drury (3), Quincy (2), Missouri-St. Louis (1), and UW-Parkside (1), as well as former conference members Northern Kentucky (5) and SIU Edwardsville (2).
Tickets are $10 for adults, $8 for students, and $5 for children, while kids 5-and-under are free. The GLVC is also offering an All-Tournament pass for $35.
