Men’s Basketball: Aaron Hill, Rockhurst University
Aaron Hill, a senior from Canton, Missouri, finished his career at Rockhurst with a 3.84 cumulative GPA as an undergrad and a 3.56 cumulative GPA in the school’s MBA program. Hill posted a 3.37 semester GPA while pacing the Hawks to a 17-11 overall record and to a 12-6 mark in the GLVC. Hill was second in the league in scoring (19.9 ppg) and also led Rockhurst in rebounding (5.2 rpg), assists (3.0 apg), free throw percentage (88.6 percent) and three-point field goal percentage (42.1 percent). He was named to the All-GLVC First Team, Daktronics All-Midwest First Team, NABC All-District Second Team and was a Division II Bulletin All-America Honorable Mention pick. Hill garnered ESPN the Magazine Academic All-America First Team honors and was also an Academic All-GLVC and Dean’s List member. |

Women’s Basketball: Jessica Canary, University of Indianapolis
Jessica Canary, a senior guard from Coatesville, Ind., led the Greyhounds to a 26-4 overall record in 2009-10 while boasting a 3.918 cumulative GPA in elementary education. Canary averaged 14.2 points, 5.6 rebounds and 5.0 assists per game for UIndy helping her team to a 16-2 league record and to the second most wins in program history. She was selected as the program’s first ESPN the Magazine Academic All-American by garnering a third-team nod and she was also selected as WBCA All-American Honorable Mention, Daktronics All-Midwest Region First Team and All-GLVC First Team. Canary became the first player in school history with at least 1,400 points, 600 rebounds and 400 assists in a career and is a four time Academic All-GLVC honoree. |

Men’s Golf: Seth Fair, University of Indianapolis
Seth Fair, a senior from Brownsburg, Ind., capped his collegiate career with a fourth-place finish at the 2010 NCAA Men’s Golf National Championships last month. The GLVC Men’s Golfer of the Year boasts a cumulative GPA of 3.669 in accounting and finance and notched a 3.820 semester GPA while guiding the Greyhounds to a second-place finish at the GLVC Championships and to 10th place at the NCAA Super Regional. He recorded a 72.6 strokes-per-round average in 2009-10, the second best in program history. He was tabbed an All-America First Team honoree by the Golf Coaches Association of America and is a finalist for the Byron Nelson Award. Fair holds the second, third, fourth and seventh-best season scoring averages in Greyhound history and was recently named to the Academic All-GLVC Team for the fourth time. |

Women’s Golf: Lyndsay McBride, University of Indianapolis
Lyndsay McBride, a senior from Bristol, Ind., posted a 3.837 cumulative GPA in Visual Communications & Fine Arts while pacing the Greyhounds to their second consecutive GLVC Championship in April. McBride was named the 2010 GLVC Women’s Golfer of the Year and earned Second Team All-America honors from the National Golf Coaches Association. She finished the season with a strokes-per-round average of 76.0 which marked the lowest season scoring average in program history. She helped the Greyhounds to a second-place finish at the NCAA East Regional and to a ninth-place finish at the 2010 NCAA National Championships. McBride defended her 2009 NCAA Individual National Championship by finishing in a tie for 18th place in the 2010 event. |

Men’s Tennis: Alex Kacamakis, Drury University
Alex Kacamakis, a senior from Budapest, Hungary, helped the Panthers captured the NCAA Midwest Regionals and advance to the National Championships in Altamonte Springs, Fla. in 2010. The Economics and Finance major posted a 15-3 record in singles play and 14-7 mark in doubles action while maintaining a 3.60 GPA. He was an integral part of the Panthers’ tennis team that captured the GLVC Championship in April and led his club to a 17-5 overall record. In the latest ITA rankings, Kacamakis was ranked 13th in the Midwest Region in singles and fifth in the region in doubles with partner Antonio Garcia Santos. Kakamakis earned All-GLVC honors in 2010 and was also selected to the Academic All-GLVC Team for the second straight year. |

Women’s Tennis: Rebecca Porter, Bellarmine University
Rebecca Porter, a sophomore from Greenwood, Ind., posted a perfect 6-0 mark in GLVC regular season matches and helped the Knights earn a berth to the GLVC Tournament. The Exercise Science major helped Bellarmine to a 12-6 overall record and to a 3-3 league mark by going 18-3 overall at No. 1 singles. She is currently maintaining a 3.92 cumulative GPA and posted a 4.0 GPA during the spring semester. She went 12-6 overall at No. 1 doubles and was named the GLVC Women’s Tennis Player of the Year. She was also selected to the All-GLVC Team and was named to the Academic All-GLVC Team. Porter was also a member of the Bellarmine Dean’s List in 2009-10. |

Baseball: Evan McDole, Northern Kentucky University
Evan McDole, a senior first baseman from Cold Spring, Ky., earned several academic and athletic honors in his final season with the Norse. The 2010 Richard F. Scharf Paragon recipient was named to the Daktronics All-Midwest Second Team and to the All-GLVC Second Team after hitting .347 with 65 RBIs, 22 doubles and six home runs. He helped the Norse to a 43-17 overall record and to the top of the GLVC East Division with a 24-6 mark. McDole, an Accounting and Business Administration major, held a 3.819 cumulative GPA at NKU and received the NKU Vincent Schulte Athlete of Distinction Award, the school’s top honor for a student-athlete. He was named to the ESPN the Magazine Academic All-District Second Team and was a member of the Academic All-GLVC Team. |

Softball: Rose Broderick, Northern Kentucky University
Rose Broderick, a senior infielder from Cincinnati, Ohio, paced the Norse to a 35-20 overall record in 2010 and to the championship game of the GLVC Tournament following a 19-8 mark in league play. Broderick, an Education major with a certificate in Special Education, maintained a 3.595 cumulative GPA and served the league as president of the GLVC Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. On the field, she hit .349 in 2010 with 31 runs, 39 RBIs, 12 doubles and five home runs. She was named to the Daktronics and NSCA All-Midwest Region Second Team, the All-GLVC Second Team, the Academic All-GLVC Second Team and the NKU All-Academic Team. In addition, she was awarded the NKU Thomas J. Kearns Career Achievement Award and is the NCAA Division II National SAAC Chairperson. |

Men’s Track & Field: Scott Barnas, Lewis University
Scott Barnas, a senior from Oak Lawn, Ill., thrived for the Flyers’ track & field team in 2010. Barnas, a Biology major with a 3.48 cumulative GPA, won the shot put event in 11 different meets as a senior while posting a 4.00 semester GPA. He earned a trip to the NCAA National Championships in shot put during the indoor and outdoor seasons and earned All-America honors at the indoor national championships. He was named the GLVC Field Athlete of the Week five different times in 2010 and was the GLVC Indoor and Outdoor Champion in the shot put. He helped the Flyers to a third-place finish at the GLVC Indoor Championships and to a seventh-place finish at the GLVC Outdoor Championships. Barnas holds the Lewis indoor (57’9 3/4”) and outdoor (59’ 3/4”) records in the shot put. |

Women’s Track & Field: Mary Ballinger, University of Southern Indiana
Mary Ballinger, a senior from Chesterton, Ind., capped a tremendous career by earning All-America honors during both the indoor and outdoor seasons in 2010. The Food & Nutrition major with a 3.54 cumulative GPA was named an All-America in the mile run at the NCAA Indoor Championships and was named the GLVC Indoor Track Athlete of the Year after winning GLVC titles in the mile run and 3,000-meter run. She won the GLVC title in the steeplechase at the GLVC Outdoor Championships and capped the season with a third-place finish in the steeplechase at the NCAA Outdoor Championships. Ballinger earned All-GLVC First Team honors in the indoor and outdoor seasons and was named to the Academic All-GLVC Team for the third straight year. |
