A former sports information director for member school Truman State University, Tyler Madsen is in his eighth season in 2024-25, assisting the Conference office as the league's Communications Coordinator for Statistics and Standings. 

Madsen's primary responsibilities include the collection and maintenance of the league's daily game results and statistics for league SIDs, media members, and GLVCsports.com. He also manages the league's Point Rating System (PRS) for men's & women's basketball, assists with end-of-season and tie breaking procedures for league championship events, and compiles All-GLVC voting statistics packets for league coaches.

He also fills play-by-play and color commentary roles at multiple championship events on the GLVC Sports Network (GLVCSN) and is a prior member of both the NCAA Division II baseball and men's soccer national committees.

Madsen serves the league remotely from Jefferson City, Missouri.
