Williams will assist the GLVC in championship administration and marketing, as well as the production of the GLVC Sports Network.  He will also coordinate GLVC Championship manuals and assist with the league’s diversity and inclusion efforts.  The Indianapolis native recently earned his master’s in sport management at UIndy just one year after completing his undergrad in sports marketing and management at Indiana University.  As an event management intern at UIndy this past season, Williams assisted the Conference office with the administration of the 2020 GLVC Indoor Track and Field Championships.  While obtaining his two degrees, Williams served in numerous volunteer and intern roles in various capacities, including Collegiate Charities, ProCamps with TY Hilton and Victor Oladipo, NFL Combine, NFL Pro Bowl Experience, and ESPN football productions.  At IU, Williams was a member of the Sports Marketing Alliance and Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., where he served as recruiting coordinator and historian. He was recognized nationally by the Alpha Chapter at the Undergraduate Leadership Institute for exceptional leadership traits and academic success in 2018.  Williams also co-founded and served as marketing director of the George Taliaferro Sport Association, named after the Hoosier legend who became the first African-American to be drafted by an NFL franchise and later lived his life advocating for community, diversity and education.
