INDIANAPOLIS - The Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) will be represented by 24 student-athletes at the 2023 NCAA Division II Men's and Women's Outdoor Track & Field Championships, May 25-27, at the CSU Pueblo ThunderBowl in Pueblo, Colorado.
15 women and nine men comprise the GLVC's student-athletes who were among 754 total qualifiers announced on Tuesday by the NCAA. In all, 270 competitors qualified on both the men's and women's side.
On the women's side, Lewis University led all league members with eight participants while also having a relay team compete as well, followed by University of Indianapolis (3), Truman State University (2), Southwest Baptist University (1), and William Jewell College (1). For the men, Indianapolis, Lewis, and Missouri S&T are sending two student-athletes, while McKendree, Truman State, and William Jewell will have one representative each.
The 15 women will compete in eight different individual events, and the eight men will cover a total of seven events.
